Who are you shopping for?
You’ll see unisex models either way.
What is your face shape?
A styling suggestion — you can also skip it.
Which is closest to you?
Look at the widest point: forehead, cheekbones or jaw.
How do sunglasses usually fit you?
Think of the last pair you wore.
Got a pair that fits well? The inside of the temple usually shows three numbers like 52 □ 20 – 145 — lens width, bridge width, temple length. You’ll find the same values on every one of our product pages.
Which look suits you?
One direction is enough — you’ll still see a selection at the end.

The right size
Whether a pair of sunglasses gets worn every day or ends up in a drawer usually comes down to width. Too wide and it slips; too narrow and it presses on your temples. We place every SESTO. model in one of three widths.
Narrow
Cut narrower. Fits if most sunglasses look too big on you or sit loosely.
Regular
The middle of our range. Fits most faces and is the safe place to start.
Wide
Cut wider. For anyone who finds standard sizes too tight at the temples.
A note on sizing: Narrow, Regular and Wide are a SESTO. assessment of a model’s overall look — not a standardised size and not derived from a single number. The millimetre values on each product page are what counts.
02 — Know your measurements
How to measure sunglasses
Eyewear measurements are given in millimetres and always describe the same points. Once you understand them, you can judge any pair online.
Lens width
The widest point of a lens. Determines how much of your face the frame covers.
Bridge width
The distance between the lenses. Decides how high and how firmly the frame sits on your nose.
Temple length
From the hinge to the end of the temple. Too short presses behind the ear, too long gives no grip.
Total width
Outer edge to outer edge. The most direct comparison with a pair that already fits you.
03 — Already own a pair you love?
Compare with the pair you have
The fastest way to the right size is a pair that already fits you. Open one temple and look at the inside: there is usually a row of numbers like 52 □ 20 – 145. That is lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres.
You’ll find the same three values on every one of our product pages. If a SESTO. model is within two to three millimetres in lens width, you will hardly notice the difference when wearing it.
04 — Find your face shape
Face shape as inspiration, not a rule
There is no shape you can’t wear because of your face shape. The classic rule works with contrast — angular frames for softer features, rounder frames for more angular ones. That is a possible effect, not a law. We recommend, you decide.
More contrast?
More angular shapes like Square or Rectangle set a counterpoint to soft contours.
A softer look?
Round and oval shapes take some of the edge off more defined features.
Simply your thing?
If you like a shape, that is the strongest argument — and entirely enough.
